The quality of 50 Chilean wines was recognized during the Award Ceremony for awarded wines from the CMB Red & White Wines Session 2023 in Istria, and the Concours Mondial du Sauvignon 2023 (previous name of Sauvignon Selection by CMB).

Baudouin Havaux, president of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles – CMB, was in charge of directing the award ceremony, held at the facilities of Hotel Director, whose support was essential to recognize the winning Chilean wineries.

In total, the CMB awarded 49 Silver, Gold and Grand Gold Medals to Chilean wineries. Additionally, the Concours Mondial du Sauvignon (now called Sauvignon Selection by CMB) recognized one of the participating products with a Silver Medal.

After the ceremony, guests were able to taste 43 world wines awarded in the different annual sessions of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, marking a milestone in the promotion of international wine excellence. To guarantee the maximum expression of these international labels, the event had the support of Spiegelau and its unbeatable glassware.

The event, dedicated to celebrate the talent of Chilean wine producers, as well as the shared passion for wine culture in Chile, included owners and general managers of the winning vineyards, producers, representatives of associations, and prominent specialized journalists in wines and sommeliers. Everyone present recognized the great work of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles – CMB as the only international wine competition held outside of Chile that organize and Awards Ceremony to the winners in the country.
