Österreichische Traditionsweingüter (ÖTW) has been the standard-bearer for premium Austrian wines for more than 30 years. The winery grouping has worked tirelessly to promote the best origin wines from Austria’s key regions and developed a pioneering classification system that has been written into law. Now these top Austrian wineries are set to chalk up another milestone – their first ever joint appearance at Wine Paris 2025 (February 10 to 12).
The wine fair in the so-called ‘City of Lights’ offers the perfect stage for the joint debut of the ÖTW wineries (Hall 4/Stand F 283.1). These leading lights of Austria’s wine industry will join forces in Paris to showcase their origin-based wines from the regions of the Danube Valley and its tributaries: Kamptal, Kremstal, Traisental and Wagram, as well as further east in Vienna, Weinviertel, Thermenregion and Carnuntum.
While the ÖTW’s core mission remains unchanged – an unwavering commitment to wines of origin – the now 90-strong winery grouping has evolved in a manner that was inconceivable three decades ago. And so, visitors to the ÖTW stand will not only be able to taste the ranges of individual members and experience a special tasting corner featuring ÖTW Erste Lage (Premier Cru) single vineyard wines but also get a sneak peak of the group’s new look and its plans to redefine tradition in 2025 – and beyond.
