True to its history, its roots, and its deep attachment to the Rhône Valley, Vidal-Fleury is now taking a decisive step forward by officially launching its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Through this initiative, the House is affirming its commitment to taking concrete action to preserve wine-growing ecosystems, promote the expertise of its teams, and strengthen ties with local stakeholders.

Along-termambition
Officially launched in September 2025, Vidal-Fleury’s CSR initiative is part of a progressive action plan running until 2026. The goal is to obtain the “Engagé RSE AFNOR©” label, a benchmark aligned with the ISO 26000 standard. This recognition will crown the company’s collective efforts to combine high standards, tradition, and responsibility.

An approach structured around four strategic areas
With nearly two centuries of of winemaking tradition, Vidal-Fleury is affirming its commitment by choosing to build a sustainable model based on four pillars:
• Ensuring long-term activity: maintaining quality and transparency in partnerships, guaranteeing economic balance, and ensuring projects are sustainable over time.
• Preserving the environment: reducing the environmental footprint of activities, protecting biodiversity, and promoting eco-responsible practices, from the vineyard to the bottle.
• Developing employee well-being: promoting fulfillment and security in an environment based on a culture of listening, respect, trust, and knowledge sharing.
• Strengthen local roots: support local stakeholders, artisans, initiatives, artisanal know-how, and stakeholders in the Rhône Valley through sustainable and responsible partnerships.

Antoine Dupré, Vidal-Fleury General Manager & Oenologist, emphasizes:
“At Vidal-Fleury, every decision we make is informed by a long-term perspective. This CSR initiative is a natural continuation of our history: preserving our terroirs, valuing our teams, and contributing positively to the life of our region. It is our way of honoring the future while staying true to our roots.”

Vidal-Fleury

Founded in 1781, Maison Vidal-Fleury is a wine merchant and producer offering one of the widest ranges of Rhône Valley wines:
– In the north: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Hermitage, and Crozes-Hermitage.
Syrah is the only red grape variety, sometimes blended with white grapes such as Viognier in Côte-Rôtie; for whites, Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne are used.
– In the south: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Tavel, Cairanne, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, Côtes-du-Rhône, Ventoux, and Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise.

Vidal-Fleury, led by oenologist Antoine Dupré, cultivates a deep attachment to the region’s terroirs. Each wine benefits from personalized care, respecting its origin and evolution, in order to fully express the character of its appellation. With over 200 years of history, the house embodies a love of the land and wine, and remains a symbol of quality and vintage excellence.
