New Zero Tasting Bar and extended product world in Hall 5

The No/Low segment is becoming increasingly professional. High-quality de-alcoholised wines, spirits, proxies, and fermentation-based alternatives are developing increasingly distinctive flavour profiles and are being used in food pairing more and more often. Producers invest specifically in quality and stylistics – not as a substitute but as a stand-alone deli-category. “No/Low is not a short-term trend but a growing market segment that warrants differentiated consideration. Our task is to provide guidance and classify developments neatly. With the newly arranged ProWein Zero we create a structured platform for this,” says Frank Schindler, Director of ProWein Düsseldorf.

ProWein Zero adds new chapter

What used to be considered an experiment just a few years ago, is of international relevance today – and has featured at ProWein Düsseldorf for three years now. Around 180 exhibitors will list non-alcoholic products in their portfolios this year. More than 30 companies will present themselves directly at ProWein Zero in Hall 5, and another 60 additional brands will be represented at the Zero Tasting Bar.

The line-up is international: producers from Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Norway Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, China, and Argentina will demonstrate how rapidly technology, sensorics and creative concepts have developed in the No/Low segment. New in 2026 will be the integration of non-alcoholic spirits – a key component underlining the growing differentiation of this category.

The Zero Tasting Bar – curated, interactive, close to the market

The centrepiece of ProWein Zero is the further refined Zero Tasting Bar realised in cooperation with Meininger Verlag publishers. This will serve as the central meeting place for trade fair visitors who want to deepen their knowledge about non-alcoholic still and sparkling wines as well as alcohol-free spirits.

At the Tasting Bar experts can partake in targeted tastings, discuss with skilled staff and systematically categorise new products. The ranges will be complemented by regularly held exclusive, keynote and themed tastings that convey knowledge about current developments, new styles and international trends in a compact and hands-on manner. The combination of tasting bar, digital bar menu and visual staging provides guidance and makes the Zero Tasting Bar one of the highlights at ProWein 2026 in terms of content. “With the Zero Tasting Bar we offer producers a professionally curated platform and visitors structured access to a highly dynamic market segment. At the same time, we are adding a new chapter to the presentation of no-alcohol wines”, comments Felix Köhler of Meininger’s Competitions Team.

Strong brands, clear visibility

Alongside numerous brands in the ProWein Zero concept area, other companies are also represented with individually designed stands including Geiger, Kolonne Null, Flavologic, Henkell, Pierre Chavin, Neobulles and LEA Winery. In addition, international suppliers such as Schloss Wachenheim, Les Grands Chais de France, Reh Kendermann and Peter Mertes in Hall 4 remain important anchor points for ProWein’s non-alcoholic ranges.
